There is a Civil War brewing among Republicans, and especially those Republicans who say they support President Donald Trump.
One of the most vicious shots in the war came from Fox News host Jeanine Pirro who, on her show “Justice With Judge Jeanine,” shredded Attorney General Bill Barr who has been one of the president’s most ardent supporters, Mediaite reported.
Pirro was responding to Barr’s claim that “to date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election.”
“There’s been one assertion that would be systemic fraud and that would be the claim that machines were programmed essentially to skew the election results,” Barr said. “And the DHS and DOJ have looked into that, and so far, we haven’t seen anything to substantiate that.”
That answer did not work for the Fox News host.
“Unfortunately, the Attorney General Bill Barr has proven himself to be anything other than extraordinary,” the host said. “This week, Barr commented that he has not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election.”
“Really? It’s curious, Barr, the head of the DOJ would affirmatively make a statement regarding a pending investigation,” Pirro said. “As a former prosecutor, for over three decades, I and virtually everyone similarly situated know that DOJ guidelines do not allow comment on investigations.”
She tore into Barr for around nine minutes in her opening monologue before calling him a member of the “swamp,” and saying that he is so far in the swamp that he cannot see beyond his “fellow reptiles.”
“We need answers. We need action. We need justice. And you, Mr. Barr, are so deep in the swamp you can’t see beyond your fellow reptiles, and you are not the exceptional leader needed at this exceptional time in history,” she said.

The Department of Justice responded to the report that said he did not see election fraud on a scale that would affect the election by saying that the entire quote was not reflected by the media.
“Some media outlets have incorrectly reported that the Department has concluded its investigation of election fraud and announced an affirmative finding of no fraud in the election,” a Department Of Justice spokesman said “That is not what the Associated Press reported nor what the Attorney General stated. The Department will continue to receive and vigorously pursue all specific and credible allegations of fraud as expeditiously as possible.”
Barr’s statement helps Democrats bolster their claims that the election was fair and that former Vice President Joe Biden won and it damages the president’s claims of vote fraud.
In the court of public opinion, Barr did tremendous damage to the president. And now the schism among the president’s supporters is growing deeper.
