President Donald Trump spoke very candidly for the first time since the 2020 presidential election and he did not sound as confident as he once did.
The president said that the facts of the case, regarding election fraud, are on his side but with the electors voting in a matter of weeks, time is not.
“As to whether or not I can get this apparatus moving this quickly–because time isn’t on our side…,” he said. “Everything else is on our side. Facts are on our side.”
Breitbart News reported:
The president spoke to reporters Thursday evening after speaking to members of the armed forces for Thanksgiving Day.
A reporter asked Trump if he would concede the presidential election if the electoral college voted for former Vice President Joe Biden on December 14.
“It’s going to be a very hard thing to concede because we know there was massive fraud,” the president said.
He questioned everything about the election, from the voting process itself to the machines that counted the votes and the mail-in voting that the president said was wide open to fraudulent activity.
“This should never take place in this country. We’re like a third world country,” Trump said. “We have machines that nobody knows what the hell they’re looking at.”
He also questioned, as any reasonable person would, how Biden defeated former President Obama’s numbers in swing states but at the same time stay well below Obama’s numbers in other areas of the nation.
“This is not a candidate that could get 80 million votes. This is just not a candidate,” the president said. “This is not a candidate that beat Barack Hussein Obama with the black voter, okay?”
He said that it was possible that he would concede the election and then he tore into a reporter who pressed him on it.
“You’re just a lightweight. Don’t talk to me that way. I’m the President of the United States,” he said. “Don’t ever talk to the president that way.”
He was asked if he would leave the White House, or would refuse to, if Biden was voted the president by the Electoral College in December.
“Certainly, I will, and you know that. But I think that there will be a lot of things happening between now and the 20th of January, a lot of things,” the president said.
That sentence by the president kills one of the media’s and the Democrats fever dreams of having security drag the president from the White House.
But the president did not commit to attending the inauguration of Biden if the electors vote for him.
“I don’t want to say that yet,” he said. “I mean, I know the answer. I’ll be honest. I know the answer, but I just don’t want to say it yet.”
The president is continuing the fight the results of the election to the bitter end, and perhaps all the way to the inauguration, as he legally can and as many people believe that he should.
