Supreme Court ‘Keep Nine’ Amendment Is Introduced – And A Large Majority Of Americans Are In Favor Of It

What’s Happening:
It appears plenty of people were upset when Democrats threatened to pack the Supreme Court.

Outraged that Trump was fulfilling his Constitutional duty to replace RBG, that was one of many things the left promised to do.

But recent surveys suggest most Americans are not on board with Democrats’ radical plan.

And two congresspeople from both sides of the aisle are actually trying to make sure it never happens:

A vast majority of registered voters favor the “Keep Nine” amendment, establishing the number of Supreme Court justices at nine and thereby preventing the president and Congress from ever “packing” the highest court in the land…

Last week, two congressmen, Denver Riggleman (R-VA) and Collin C. Peterson (D-MN) introduced a “Keep Nine” measure which would effectively set the number of Supreme Court justices at nine.

According to a new report, 62 percent of voters want an amendment that would keep the Supreme Court at just nine.

The “Keep Nine” amendment was proposed by two congressmen, a Republican and a Democrat.

The effort is to prevent liberal lawmakers, should they get a majority, to force more justices onto the bench.

With Trump appointing his third justice to the court, Democrats are panicking.

Their precious liberal majority is long gone. And a conservative court with three Trump picks might prevent any liberal victories in the future.

Democrats’ only solution is to force more justices onto the court. As many as it would take to regain a liberal majority.

That suggests this has nothing to do with protecting the Constitution, but forcing a liberal agenda onto the country.

The same liberal agenda that once gave us Roe v. Wade.

Ever since Trump announced he would be replacing Ginsburg before the election, Democrats have been in meltdown mode.

They have no power to stop Trump from picking another court member. So, they have resorted to wild threats and empty slander.

But despite this, it seems Americans are not on their side.

Key Takeaways:
A majority of voters support an amendment to keep the SCOTUS at nine.
Two congressmen have proposed a “Keep Nine” amendment.
Democrats have threatened to pack the court to get a liberal majority.
