The presidential debate that took place in Cleveland, Ohio last night between President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden was certainly one for the books. It could be one of those moments in one’s life where they remember exactly where they were when they watched the debate.
President Trump came out swinging, which was a strategy that was predicted by many of his top advisers. Biden appeared — by many accounts in the media and online — as frail, weak and totally caught off guard, though many gave him credit for not having a total breakdown as Trump repeatedly punched him in the face.
Another issue that bothered Trump supporters is Fox News host and debate moderator Chris Wallace’s seeming bias in favor of Biden during the debate. The president himself tweeted about Wallace’s performance as a moderator, essentially suggesting that he had to debate both Biden and Wallace last night.
“Chris had a tough night. Two on one was not surprising, but fun. Many important points made, like throwing Bernie, AOC PLUS 3, and the rest, to the wolves! Radical Left is dumping Sleepy Joe. Zero Democrat enthusiasm, WEAK Leadership!” Trump tweeted on Wednesday morning.
The president also retweeted a number of tweets from various influential conservatives who believe Wallace — a registered Democrat — had an extremely poor showing, drawing contrast to how well he handled the debate between Trump and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016.
“If you still can’t figure out why the American public doesn’t trust the media… just rewatch Chris Wallace’s performance tonight…” comedian Tim Young tweeted, which was one of the posts that the president retweeted on Wednesday.
Not long after the debate, Trump tweeted out a graphic that hilarious depicted him in a “versus” between both Biden and Wallace.

But it wasn’t just Trump who poked fun at Wallace for grossly mishandling the debate on a number of levels. Even Fox News host Brian Kilmeade took a crack at the Sunday morning talk show veteran, raising the question of why Biden was seemingly given permission to interrupt while Trump was not afforded the same opportunities.
“Why is @JoeBiden allowed to interrupt? @realDonaldTrump is not,” Kilmeade tweeted.
Fox News mega-star Laura Ingraham echoed Kilmeade’s debate observation, telling her 3.7 million Twitter followers, “Biden seems to interrupt with impunity.”
But calling out Wallace wasn’t the only thing Trump had to say on Twitter, he made clear that he won the debate by tripping Biden up on a number of issues, including forcing him to admit that he doesn’t support the ultra-progressive, radical left’s “Green New Deal” plan and the socialist medicine plan put forth by the same group.
Trump claimed that Biden immediately lost the “radical left” after failing to support such ideas.
“Nobody wants Sleepy Joe as a leader, including the Radical Left (which he lost last night!). He disrespected Bernie, effectively calling him a loser!” Trump tweeted.
No matter what you think of last night’s presidential debate, Trump made crystal clear that he’s brawling in the heavyweight division and isn’t afraid to take on two at a time.
