That’s something the average candidate (in good health) could do, sure. But Biden?

We’re not so sure. His latest gaffe is raising even more questions.

If you can’t even recite the Pledge of Allegiance correctly, should you be president?

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden botched the words to America’s Pledge of Allegiance on Monday, drawing widespread mockery online.

“I don’t pledge allegiance to red states of America or blue states of America, I pledge allegiance to the United States of America. One nation, indivisible under God. For real,” Biden said. “I’m running as a proud Democrat, but I’m not going to govern as a Democratic president, I’m going to govern as president.”

While trying to take a shot at Trump, Joe Biden botches reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

The Pledge is fairly short and has been memorized by countless generations of school children.

Shouldn’t a man who has been in government for 50 years know it by heart?

The man was trying to make a case, saying he’d be a president for all Americans. At least, that’s what we think he was saying.

Something about not going to “govern as a Democratic president.” Okay, sure Joe.

Then why has he and most Democrats spent the last four years attacking and demonizing Trump and his supporters?

Sure sounds like he is going to be a Democratic president.

But more troubling than that is his inability to recite the Pledge.

Notice, he has his words written out for him, right in front of him. Yet he can’t get it done.

Are his eyes that bad?

Is this how he performs when there isn’t a giant teleprompter in front of him? Not great, Joe.

I think most Americans can remember the Pledge easily, without help from a script.

But even with a script, Biden bumbles through it.
